About a week ago I was in the parking lot at work. I had started the car, and happened to glance at the side view mirror just as a bee landed on it. The bee was completely loaded up with pollen, stuffed like saddlebags on its hind legs. This was taken through a not-sparkling-clean window, but you can still see really well!

I’ve been asking the same question. Sure, we’ve had six or seven inches of snow this “winter”, but that was all in the past three weeks. Just two weeks ago, I saw my first wasp of the year (I never knew they could be active in February) and back in December I saw a few ladybugs.
Santa must have put wheels on the sleigh for this year’s deliveries.

Or slicked up the rails for mud?
Yeah, my mom had a very mild winter in NY until just a few weeks ago.
